Before we were Barkitecture, we spent the last 20 years doing what we do best: designing and building bespoke kitchens and high-end custom furniture. Our small, dedicated team of craftsmen knows exactly what it takes to build pieces that last a lifetime. We’ve spent decades mastering premium woods, precision hardware, architectural finishes, and structural integrity.

The "Why"

But alongside our passion for fine furniture is a deep, lifelong love for our dogs.

For years, we noticed a glaring problem in our own homes and the homes of our clients. We would install a beautiful, meticulously crafted living room or kitchen, only to have the aesthetic ruined by a flimsy wire dog crate or a cheap plastic pet bed squeezed into the corner. We asked ourselves: Why should the most cherished members of our family be relegated to an eyesore?

We realized we could fix this. We took our 20 years of custom cabinetry and furniture-making expertise and redirected it toward our best friends.

That is how Barkitecture was born. We design and build luxury dog dens with the exact same rigor, intentionality, and high-end materials—like deep-stained walnut, honed concrete, and brushed brass—that we use in our custom human-scale projects. We don't build "pet supplies." We build architectural micro-environments.
